Bukhara Grill

Bukhara Grill provided the catering for our daughter's Sangeet and Wedding in Philadelphia. I cannot say enough good things about them - starting with the first meeting with Raja at their restaurant in New York. He is an absolute delight to work with, and his calm confidence did much to assure me that everything would turn out great. He was open to our thoughts and suggestions for the menus, and provided helpful guidance when we needed it. The result? Two events with fabulous cuisine, and very satisfied guests. Keep it up Bukhara Grill!

First off, we want to start by saying that Raja @ Bukhara Grill is absolutely wonderful to work with! We used Bukhara for our Wedding/Reception. Raja helped us devise the "perfect"menu for our special day. Our guests were extremely pleased with the food and service provided by Bukhara. We received numerous compliments each time we spoke to a friend or family member. Raja went above and beyond expectations. We look forward to working with Raja and his crew for future events.

Absolutely loved Bukhara Grill. Vicky is amazing to work with and Bukhara is hands down THE BEST Indian food you can get in the tri-state area. I would recommend them over any other restaurant! The guests were raving about the food we had wedding lunch and reception dinner! Bukhara Grill is the best!

We had our wedding caterered by Bukhara Grill in past May. It was a whole day event on the day of the wedding in which we provided both lunch and dinner to our guests. Raja had been very helpful, providing us with good guidance in terms of which items are best in cocktails vs entrees vs lunch food. And prior to the day of the event, we were confident that they would do a good job. There were some rumors about how some hotels are no longer affiliating themselves with the caterers due to some health violations from NYC - but I gave them the benefit and went by their reputation. On the day of the wedding, despite being given in writing and confirming receipt of the numbers and being paid in full for that amount - they fell short of about 80 people for lunch!! So our immediate family did not even get to eat the lunch we had PAID for and had thought was provided. Moreover, in front of all our guests, Raja proceeded to slander my father and father-in-law telling our guests how its our fault that they dont have enough food. That we hadn't informed them as such - though he had been paid in full. This was disrespectul and malicious and horrible for any bride to hear of on her wedding day. When I got wind of this I promptly called him - at this point he must have realized HIS mistake and assured me that there would be enough food at dinner for our guests. It's one thing to make a mistake and then correct it - but another to be so UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL! I would NEVER recommend Bukhara after the way they treated my fathers.

The guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing our cocktail hour was. The chili chicken and marinated mushrooms are to die for! The only complaints we had were that our mango lassi was watered down, the desserts left much to be desired. But overall the food was phenomenal, and the managers were very accommodating with our demands.

The marriage is just like a occasion to celebrate. and party needs good catering and the bukhara grill has provide such a good catering that anybody can lick his fingers while enjoying the food. the food is just awesome. well i think that everyone enjoyed it.

We loved Bukhara Grill! We worked with Raja and he provided us with expcetional service. We also got many compliments from our guests about the food which can often be hit or miss at a large Indian wedding. They are extremely accomodating in terms of what you want/customize on the menu and the food was delicious. I know there are some other larger well-know caterers who may be larger, but I have to say the personal touch from Bukhara Grill was excellent. They are very careful about how many events they book, so you will get excellent service since they are only focused on you. We also used another caterer since we wanted some Filipino cuisineand they were extremely accomodating in working with them as well. We had a great tasting right before the wedding and overall an exceptional experience with them. I highly recommend them.

I did a tasting menu here and the food was out of this world. Absolutely the best indian food that I have ever experienced!

The one thing people still talk about from our wedding is the food! An amazing variety, unparalleled quality. Not just as simple as Indian food either. They do so many different kind of cuisines and it made our event incredible. The service was perfect: on time courteous, easy to work with, responsive. I couldn't have dreamed of a better caterer

Bukhara Grill did a great job catering to all of our needs.They really made sure everything was perfect for us on our wedding day.They had a bit of everything we needed vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.I had nothing but a wonderful experience with Bukhara Grill. The price, and the quality were the best!

Amazing food!! The price was really affordable, and it came before we expected it, but it was still nice and hot when the guests arrived!

Loved them!! People are raving about their food and Raja called me to find out 2 weeks after the wedding to see if they lived up to our expectations! My husband and I took forever to book a caterer because we had a specific ideas and didn't want to budge with the food Bukhara did well!!
