We used JaeHee Bridal for my wedding gown and all of the bridesmaids dresses for our wedding. Their selection was great and the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our busy schedules. All of the alterations came out great and everyone looked beautiful on the day of! I would recommend JaeHee to any of my friends or family.

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about Stephanie M. in particular, and all of the lovely ladies who contributed to my experience at Jaehee Bridal Atelier. Prior to my trip to Jaehee, I had already had appointments at three other very nice bridal salons in New Jersey, and one rather notorious salon in NYC (where I live). Let's just say that I, um, didn't say yes to the dress... I had a good sense of what I was looking for from the beginning, but no one seemed to really get it—until my appointment at Jaehee, that is! I arrived for my appointment, and was impressed right away by the sophisticated decor. The salon is really lovely—bridal, yet tasteful. My mom and I then sat down and had a quick chat with Stephanie, during which I proceeded to give her my usual bad explanation: old-world inspired for a wedding at an 18th century, rustic estate, but still contemporary, bold, and somewhat fashion-forward. Kind of a weirdly specific, yet troublingly vague description that had thrown off quite a few consultants already (and I don't blame them). Luckily for me, Stephanie is the best! It became immediately clear that for the first time, I was speaking with a consultant who really listened. She understood the look I was trying to achieve right away.Consultants I had met with in the past seemed to merely fixate on the basics, like sweetheart neckline and overall silhouette, and then just sort of pulled any old thing that hit those checkpoints. Stephanie instead honed in on the feel and the mood I was trying to evoke. Rather than just blindly checking the boxes, she utilized her excellent knowledge and taste to pull dresses I never would have thought of, which completely captured what I had described to her. Within two tries, she found my dress. It is literally EXACTLY what I was hoping to find, without ever being completely sure it existed. I. Love. It. I subsequently went back to Stephanie for my bridesmaids' dresses, and had the same wonderful experience. Jaehee Bridal Atelier is unique in that you get the personalized service of a small boutique, yet the incredible selection of a much larger store, including many hard-to-find designers. I have also found all of the staff at Jaehee to be incredibly kind, professional, knowledgeable, and best of all, completely understanding when brides act stressed or slightly insane (as many do, including me). From first impressions of the salon, to finding my dress, to finding a dress that all six of my bridesmaids are thrilled with, to alterations, etc., my experience at Jaehee has been pleasant and reassuring. I give them my highest recommendation, and I hope that all of you other brides reading this will head directly over there! You'll be so happy you did!

My first experience here was good. They have a wonderful selection of dresses, in a variety of middle to super-high prices. Most importantly, they had a larger selection of styles than anywhere else I had been in NJ.The saleswoman I worked with, Linda, was fantastic. She wasn't pushy at all. She only showed me dresses in my price point, and never showed me a style that I wasnt interested in. I told her little to no beading, column style, flowy/drapy--and that is exactly what I got. The dress I chose was at the very top of my price range, and getting it in my size (a 22--ugh! hate wedding dresses, I am a 16/18 most places) would have pushed it over my budget. They discounted the 22 to the 18 price, so that I could have my dress! I couldn't have been happier. The salon itself is beautiful, and has a very metro/urban vibe which I quite liked. They allow you to flip through the dresses yourself, rather than just having them pulled for you.The negatives started when I went in for alterations. At my first fitting, I wanted them to take in the top a bit, since the 22 measurements had been for my lower half. They told me to wait, since the bra I had brought didnt work, and to come back with a different bra and a body shaper before they altered the top--fair enough. They were to do the hemming and remove the train.I left my second fitting almost in tears! I was in the room with Jaehee herself, not one of the alterations women. The dress was far too large on top, falling off my shoulders, and with foam bust pads that kept moving around because they were meant for larger cup sizes. I kept insisting I needed the cups removed, and the top taken in. The straps were gaping in the back it was so big!She insisted it was fine, and needed no alterations, and that I should take it home that day. I refused, and she, myself and my fiance hotly debated for nearly an hour. Eventually she told me that I had picked a dress that couldn't be taken in without ruining the style! I was furious, since I had been specifically told by the woman when I ordered it that taking it in to accommodate my pair shape would be no issue whatsoever. Finally one of the tailoring women came in. I could tell by the look on her face that she completely agreed with me, but couldn't contradict the owner. We compromised on removing the bust pads only, and returning for another fitting. But, when I came back, I found that they had done EVERYTHING I asked for! Even though they had insisted that nothing needed to be done! They had removed the pads, and taken in the whole top--even doing it the more difficult way of taking it apart and pulling it down into the bottom of the dress, so it wouldnt ruin the draping. If only they had told me they were going to do this, it would have saved me a week of crying and frustration. I had been so unhappy, I had actually gone to a David's Bridal and had been on the verge of buying of the rack! So, in the end, everything came out ok. But the process was a mix of the fantastic and the very frustrating and upsetting. And I think that it is rather telling that the wonderful consultant I worked with is no longer with Jaehee

I had a great experience with Jaehee. I found a dress that I loved that I had been eyeing online and had tried on at another store. Jaehee had it for less money, plus there was a trunk show - where I saved even more! I went there specifically because they carried the designer that I loved - Rosa Clara. The team was very helpful and never tried to over-sell me. They respected our budget and my style. As for alterations - I could not be more pleased with the alterations team. The ladies were courteous and kind - and their craftsmanship was incredible. I was lucky not to need too much in the way of alterations - but in shortening the length, the end result was perfect. The fit of the dress was great and it laid exactly as it should. The dress was in ideal condition the day of the wedding and now, post-wedding, I am jonesing to wear it again =)

When I found my dream wedding dress in a store in Charleston, but needed my parents approval in NJ, Jaehee ordered the sample in a size that would fit me so I could show them. They were so easy to work with and anytime I called with questions they were very pleasant to talk to. With the 0% clothing sales tax in NJ and a 10% first time "browser" discount I was able to save my parents money over where I found the dress. I also ordered my Watters bridesmaids dresses through Jaehee. All my bridesmaids got the correct size and absolutely loved their dresses. For alterations, I only required a hem, bustle, and cups but they were done very well and at a reasonable price. My maid of honor did have issues with her alterations as the buttons on the back were not replaced after alterations were done so I would just double check your dresses before taking them home. My wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses got many rave reviews from our guests and I can't wait to see the pictures!

Stephanie from Jaehee bridal helped me find the perfect wedding dress! She was so knowledgable and eager to help. She spent several hours with us making sure we were 100% satisfied. She helped us find the bridesmaid dresses as well. I definitely recommend making an appointment with Stephanie!

Where do I start …[warning – this is long … I had a lot of pent up frustration that resurfaced as I typed] I bought my dress at Enzo Bridal in Manalapan – who were soon after shutdown for fraud. I managed to get my dress from them but still needed to find somewhere to do my alterations (it was a sample). After all this the 7 BM dresses were ordered from JaeHee Bridal – sizes and deposits were sent in starting in Sept. and the last girl sent in her size/order Nov. 12, 2010 - remember this date. At this point they could order the dresses – they were waiting to order them together so they were dyed the same. I’m totally with them at this point and was I was told they would be in Feb. 2011. Again, great - it was enough time to let my four BMs who were out of state (MD, PA, VT, CA) get their alterations done before the wedding, July 3, 2011. I also arranged to have my alterations done at JaeHee. February comes and passes and then by the end of March I realized we don’t have BM dresses and they are 2 months late. Might wonder why it took me so long to contact them about the dresses. Besides planning the rest of the details of the wedding I work FT and go to school at night for my MBA – time got away from me a lot in the winter/spring. So the third week of March I call and leave a message – nothing – I wrote an email a week later and finally received an answer but it was we’re looking into the ship date. I was also told to have the beading on my dress fixed before alterations so I scheduled an appointment for that weekend. The ship date on the dresses kept getting pushed off over the string of emails. I’m not sure why red flags didn’t go up at this point, but we’ll call this #1. That weekend I went to my appointment to get the beading fixed – guess what – they didn’t have any idea I was coming in! #2. They told me to alter the dress first then get the beading done … didn’t they just tell me the opposite four days earlier? #3. Then when I asked about the BM dresses again – they searched and searched for an order form or invoice or something ... behind the desk, in the filing cabinet, in the boxes in the closet … and still nothing ! I was told to call on Monday. #4. So I call and email asking about the BM dresses – it’s April 5 when I get an answer – still nothing from the manufacturer – really is it the manufacturer? The dresses were “ordered” 5 months ago at this point. April 6 – FINALLY a ship date – May 30th ………. Ok fine still a month before the wedding the girls can get their alterations done – not as early as I hoped since we ordered them practically 7 months prior by the time they will be in the store but whatever I wasn’t going to stress over it anymore. I asked about the out of state girls which I knew my sister in CA was definitely not coming home until the wedding and would need to alter her dress in CA. I asked the associate I was working with this entire time for her opinion which was, “I would send your sister the dress because then she'll be able to have some more time with her fittings. We can send it out (I'd have to check standard shipping fees), or you can pick it up and send it to her.” Ok great – they could send it out for me – no sense in me sending it if they could do it for me – a few days later after sending her address I was told it would be $25. The date was 4.8.11. June arrives – nothing. I call the store tried to give the benefit of the doubt they didn’t call me yet because of the holiday. June 6, less than a month until the wedding, I find out the girl I’ve been working with no longer is employed there and NO ONE knew about my BM dresses and when they went to look it up they hadn’t shipped! #5. Up until this point I was very calm, polite, and understanding. I lost it. I was told to call back in two days. I called the next day and the next day and the next day. Sure I got the same answer – the dresses hadn’t shipped yet, they can’t get a hold of the manufacturer – Vineyard – excuses excuses excuses. June 14 at 6:30 pm I get an email – the dresses are in. I call the next morning – they need to ship two of the four out of state dresses – one to CA and one to VT. I was then also told that the shipping fees would be $25 to VT and $65 to CA because they had to expedite it. Again I lost it. I asked to talk to the owner and was denied. The girl was going back and forth with the owner, but they wouldn’t get on the phone with me. I know I was told back in April $25 was the fee but I didn’t think it was fair I had to pay the difference to expedite. They told me the dresses were going to originally be in in Feb – four months ago! We ordered the dresses 7 months ago to avoid something like this! Ugh aggravation! Then – not sure why once I had the tracking numbers I double checked what the cost was. Turns out the package to VT should have been $12.13 and CA $36.66 – expedited. Again super super upset – be up front and honest you’re charging me a fee on top of what it costs to ship! I would have definitely came to pick them up and mailed it myself! JaeHee was a nightmare with the BM dresses! My dress alterations. Went for my first fitting and scheduled the second one 3 weeks later. She marked the dress to hem it. Three weeks later I get there to make sure everything is ok and guess what!? She never did the alternations on the hem! The marks disappeared and instead of calling me to come back sooner they waited until it was two weeks before my wedding to start alterations! I went back the following week – the hem was done, but the alterations she did to the neckline were atrocious. It was making what was supposed to be a flat straight neckline into something puckered and bunched up so the material lay against my skin. I asked if once it was steamed would it lie flat again? I was assured it would. A week later I went back – the dress was done, steamed and ready to go. The neckline still didn’t lie straight and made the dress look ridiculous on top. I asked her to take it out. I had to go back again. The last time – three days before my wedding – I took the dress home. I will never ever recommend JaeHee to anyone. It was one headache after another with them. I’m not sure why there aren’t more complaints against them. A friend of mine recently had a similar problem where her dress was really late to arrive – but she was smarter than me and took it to be altered elsewhere. Ladies – go to another salon – I don’t wish my experience on anyone.

Sarah, the office manager, was by far the most delightful person I have dealt with throughout the whole wedding planning process!!!! She is a young, sweet, honest, pretty, breath of fresh air, lady that ALL brides should have the privilege to work with! From the very beginning she was SO helpful in choosing my wedding gown. She picked out wedding dresses for me that I would NEVER pick out for myself and nailed it! She picked out my veil and fascinator too! The only complaint I have is that the alterations on both my sisters dresses were sloppy. My mother worked up until the very last minute to get my sister's dress in the condition that was presentable. NOTHING against Sarah!!! Again, she was a COMPLETE DELIGHT to work with! Jaehee too, the owner, was extremely professional and easy to work with! They need to work on the women who do the alterations. All in all, good experience!! I went to 5 other places before meeting Sarah at Jaehee Bridal. Once I met Sarah, I knew where I was buying my dress from. Thanks again Ms. Sarah!!! : )

Why is there not an option for ZERO STARS? I literally just walked out of the store and was so disgusted by their service that I walked into a Starbucks down the road specifically to type this review. I am somewhat pleased to see that, within the past several months, I am not the only one giving this poor excuse for an "atelier" a review of "Hate it." I went there as the bridesmaid of my best friend who is getting married in June. As with most bridal shops, you have to make an appointment (so that you can be helped by the staff, have a room to yourself, the obvious when wedding dress shopping). Our appointment was scheduled for 2:30 THREE WEEKS in advance. We arrived at 2:15 to check in, and spoke to a saleswoman who said she would be right with us. We were not in the market for a wedding dress; however, we were there to buy bridesmaids dresses from a specific brand, and four dresses for the older women in the family (mother of the bride, mother-in-law, godmother, and grandmother). After walking around aimlessly and searching the MEAGER selection of bridesmaids dress samples, I decided to ask one of the sales girls for a room just to try on a dress. Mind you, no one was helping us despite there being FIVE saleswomen behind the counter doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and there being three rooms open. She did not offer to help me look for anything else, only directed me to the room and walked away. I tried on my dress with the help of the bride, and assisted the mothers with the dresses that they had chosen themselves- again, without the help of the staff. We were there FOR AN HOUR until someone decided to help us. She must have seen the looks of disgust and dissatisfaction on our faces. I understand that there are several bridezillas out there who are quite demanding, but there was ONE bride in the store with a dress on and several women milling about (and I believe Jaehee herself was there). I asked one of the sales girls to help me. She went somewhere, not sure where, and after waiting another 10 minutes, a woman whom I believe to be the manager looked ONLINE for the dress style we had in mind. They ended up not having the dress we were looking for, despite claiming to be one of the premiere providers of this specific brand (Lela Rose) in the area. The bridesmaids dress samples are strewn about the store, some are damaged, and they have maybe three or four samples from each brand. Ladies, save your time and stay away. Why make an appointment if you're going to treat me and my bride as if it we were an 'inconvenient walk in.' I have received better service shopping for Halloween costumes at a Salvation Army. And to think we were going to spend close to $7,000 there. Women, spend your money at a smaller shop that actually cares about its customers who make appointments and go out of their way to make it to their stores. This place is one Jessica McClintock prom dress away from being a glorified David's Bridal.

Jaehee Bridal was the nearest store to my home that carried my Sottero and Midgley wedding dress, so I decided to order the dress from them. They were very flexible and thorough when I ordered the dress, but making appointments for my subsequent fittings became a hassle, especially when they did not have my dress pulled and made me wait over 45 minutes until they retrieved it. The owner of the store is not particularly helpful either, and over the course of several of my visits there she would walk away from the front desk, rather than helping brides who were in need of assistance. Jaehee altered my dress perfectly, and the sales associates are great to interact with, but the quality of service wavered from visit to visit.

I can’t even begin to describe what an incredible experience I had at Jaehee. It was the first place I looked for a dress—-Sarah helped me find the most perfect dress. I had no idea what I wanted and went through many. She was amazing, patient, helpful, and most importantly, honest and I really trusted and valued her opinion. Even though I looked around afterwards, I went right back to one of the first dresses I had tried on at Jaehee. I got excited for each visit, for which everyone was so accommodating despite that I was traveling from out of town. Olivia was great and paid great attention to detail. The dress that I never thought could get more perfect did once Olivia did my fittings! It was such an easy and enjoyable process that when I went to pick up the dress, I didn’t want to leave. If you are a bride looking for a place that will truly make you feel a part of their family—I recommend going here! My wedding was over a month ago, and people are STILL commenting on the dress. I would be happy to recommend Jaehee to anyone!

Now that my wedding is over I can finally write this review! I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I purchased my gown with Sara about 6 months ago and the experience was the most calming and enjoyable experience. I was very serious about my budget, and she respectfully stayed well under (which is always a great thing!) and helped me find my dream gown. After the purchase of my bridal gown i purchased my entire bridal party's dresses and everyone really had nothing but positive feedback. From start to finish the girls make you feel like a princess and I would recommend this store to anyone!

I bought my Kenneth Pool gown from Jaehee. The service was nothing but top notch. The salon was very accomodating- when I was unsure to make a decision without my one sister present, they let me wait two hours for her to get there. I had multiple fittings and the alterations staff was very helpful. I love how my dress turned out- I just wish I could wear it more than once!

I had come from Florida to go dress shopping with my family. It was the day before I was scheduled to leave and we had found my dress, a Pronovias dress. However, the original shop we had planned to go with called us liars and we refused to buy from there. This left us scrambling to try to find another place to get the dress before I left.We found out JaeHee had the dress, but it was past closing time. My mom called anyway. They answered even though they had closed, and helped us anyway. They told my mom they had the dress and that they would match the original price we were quoted. We went early the next day to try on the dress. It was a better sample than the original one I tried on (it fit better and it had clearly been taken care of better). We bought the dress there. I'm so glad we did!! The alterations process went very smoothly. At first it was too loose, then it was too tight. And the alterations department fixed it without a problem. The day we picked up the dress, the hem was still a little long, and they fixed it for us in 30 minutes! They also changed the bustle so it looked better at our request. They were just wonderful and all the ladies there are absolute sweethearts. They just genuinely love their jobs and care about your happiness. I couldn't have asked for a better experience here. Love them!!!

We bought our daughter's wedding gown at Jaehee's and were very happy with our decision to go there. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. It was only the second place we looked and our daughter found the perfect gown very quickly. I have already recommended the Atelier to a friend. The fittings went well, Yumi was delightful, and they will take care of cleaning and preserving as well.
