This is one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. I don't mind if a company makes a mistake or just plain sucks because I know we all make mistakes, and we all suck at times, but honestly, Julius Bridal is a DISASTER! They were responsive in the begging and when we decided to order a dress, they charged us $800.00. After that, it was EXTREMELY rare to ever get any type of response. After waiting for longer than they said to receive the dress, we asked for the tracking number so we could see where it was at. Allison (the Director of Sales) said they didn't have one.. Seriously? What business "doesn't have a tracking number" for a customer who is ordering a product and having it shipped? Days later, we finally received a small box from China with the dress smashed and wrinkled inside. Long story short, it was a DISASTER and nothing like what their pictures show and what they say they're going to give you! They'll take your money for their "originally designed dresses", then send the request to "production" in China, and have it made for half the price or less, and pocket the rest for themselves. We sent the dress back and confirmed via USPS that they have received it. It's been 2 weeks since they received it. They will not send our refund, and they ignore ALL of our e-mails and ALL phone calls!!! Take EXTREME caution before dealing with this death trap!!

I love Julius Bridal!!! I can't even tell you how amazing my wedding dress came out to be-- they custom made the dress just for me and it fit me like a glove. We were married on the beach-- and the pictures look stunning, especially with the gorgeous lace Spanish veil. Not only was the dress GORGEOUS, it was also so affordable! So affordable that I was able to buy a 2nd dress to change in to =) You guys were wonderful, and I have recommended you to everyone I know! If you are looking for a custom made dress that will fit you like a glove at an affordable price- definitely go to Julius Bridal!!

I did a lot of research before ending up at Julius Bridal Shop. I even had a bridal dress with another store on deposit, but I wasn't happy! Once I arrived at Julius I was so pleased with the customer service, i met Julius him self ( the owner) who was very patient, warm and understanding. I selected a beautiful dress with a jacket. They did what they said they kept me undated via email on the status of my dress. When it came time for me to come in for my fitting the dress fit me perfectly with no alterations needed, it was more beautiful then I remembered. My husband rented a tux from the other vendors in the building that also was very good quality. He looked so handsome. All and all I received raved reviews at my wedding complimented me and just knew because it was a designer gown that I must have paid a fortune for it. Not true at all!! Over all I would highly highly recommend Julius Bridal. You could not find a better designer, with beautiful one of a kind dresses that fits every budget!! Go see what I'm talking about visit the shop you wont be disappointed.

I cannot say enough nice things about Julius and Mimi. The dress that I wanted to purchase was about 10,000. I was so upset thinking that I would not find a beautiful dress for the right price, until I stumbled upon Julius Bridal in Oceanside. I was looking at photographers and happen to just see his store because there are a few vendors in the same building and I was amazed, blown away! He was able to make me my own custom gown and I was hesitant bc I figured it would cost thousands making a custom gown but I was wrong! Not only did I receive personal attention, but got the gown of my dreams, even a $10,000 gown cannot provide, bc I was able to tweak and play around with the style to finally create my own gown and it was thousands less! Thank you Julius Bridal!!

I had no idea what I wanted as my wedding gown. I viewed many websites and visited many stores. I always went back to this one dress I found at Julius. I was able to order with no problems, I also was able to speak to the designer himself upone request. It was a very pleasent experience. I would recommend this business to anyone. My dress was made for me....literally!

I needed to buy a formal gown for a ball I was attending in the fall. I placed my order late, so I was worried about getting the dress on time. I had a backup dress that I bought from Julius' ebay store a few months ago, but I could not find anyone to get it altered. The seamstresses here said it was "too complicated" because it was technically a wedding dress but in a different color. They said I'd need a much more professional seamstress to do it. I was disappointed, so I just bought some double sided tape and hoped for the best! I was really hoping this new dress would make it on time! I was also worried because the dress I ordered was one of their wedding dresses that I had changed a bit and made in a different color! I was hoping the changes I made would look OK. Julius and I were in constant contact with updates for me since he knew I was nervous. To my surprise, the dress arrived just in time! I didn't have the time to get it altered, but I didn't need it. The dress fit like a glove the first time I put it on. It didn't even need to be steamed! I hate to brag...but I definitely had the best dress at the formal. Everyone kept commenting how pretty it was! Next time I'll make sure to order early enough to prevent any lateness. Afterall, I had only given them about 2 months to make the dress. So if it was too late, I would have understood and just kept the dress for next year. I definitely know who I'm going to call for my next event! Thanks, Julius!

I started searching for my dress about a year ago. The dresses I like were way over my budget. Then, I found Julius Bridal. I went to their old location in Elmhurst and saw some really amazing dresses. Julius himself helped me in the process of selecting my dress. He listened and took notes. I finally slected a Lazaro look-alike dress from their collection. At first, I suspected it was a scam because the price was so low and the quality of the dresses was comparable to some big name designers. On the other hand, Julius was so easy-going that he never once pressured me to purchase anything from him. I told him I was going to come back later and he didn't even ask me to set up another appointment. All he said was "let me know when you are ready." After 2 weeks, I decided to take a leap of faith. I paid everything up from to receive a 10% discount. Then I waited about 3 months. In between, I touched base with Julius to make sure everything was fine. When the dress arrived, there were some minor issues but overall it was a great dress! Julius took the responsibility to fix the issues using his seamstress. He even pointed out issues that I didn't notice! The final result was an amazing dress! Everyone at my wedding thought I paid over $6000 for the dress. Little did they knew that it was a Julius Bridal dress and I paid only 25% of that assumed price! Thanks Julius!!! One suggestion to people that are interested in Julius Bridal dresses: Give them plenty of time of time to make your dress!

Julius Bridal was by far one of my favorite vendors! Every time I made a request it was met. They went above and beyond to make this experience great for me. My dress was gorgeous. They also made my bridesmaid gowns and the color was perfect. Those were great as well and people are still complimenting me on how perfect the color was. I cannot stress how great they were! You cannot beat this service or the quality of the gowns you will receive at their more than reasonable prices.

I tried on many dresses from designers like Priscilla of Boston, Platinum, Kenneth Poole and Eve of Milady. No one dress has all the designs that I want. So, I turned to Julius Bridal for help. I used their couture service. They helped me to design a dress that incorporated elements from a few dresses that I like. The total cost was close to $3000 because of the complexity of my design. The dress came out much better than I had expected! The fabric, bead works and embroidery are all top-notch. Some details were actually better than a couple of other famous designer dresses that I saw. It was a bargain considering the dresses I looked at were all around $15000! The usual turn around time for their own styles is about 3 months. Since mine was a couture dress, it took a good 6 months for them to make the dress. Afterall, I am very happy with their service.

I placed my order with them october of 2008. The first dress shipped to me I received was very dirty inside and out. The second dress shipped to me was the wrong color. The third dress I received was for another bride (wrong size). The fourth dress I received had missing details on it and was not bustled. The fifth dress I received was not bustled 1 size too small and had a hole in it. Finally the sixth dress I received it but 2 days after my wedding date. They had put the wrong address on the shipping label for it to be overnighted to me for my wedding date. Once finally received there was still no bustle but it was the right color all details were there and the hole was still there. So long story short order your dress a year in advance so all errors will be corrected. I must mention the work and the quality of the dress was amazing but haveing to ship 6 dresses back to them and still at the end it was not right nor on time you may want to go else where. I was very patient with this company only because I thought I had plenty of time for the errors to be corrected. Personally I would not recommend this vendor at all unless you are physically going into to pick the dress and personally pick it up so any corrections can be done in there shop while you are there. Not shipping it out

Julius Bridal.... What can I say about them? They are absolutely great in the beginning; responding to emails/calls asap, flexible with the design, sending samples, negotiating price, etc. When you send the payment in, do not expect return calls nor emails. The dress will most likely be late and in a different color. I didn't complain about the different color of the dress because it would not have made a difference. They were already on my bad list! The dress was sent three months later than expected and they forgot to send the veil with the dress. The dress finally arrived three weeks before my wedding day and the veil arrived two weeks before the big day. I even had my family and friends call them to try to speak to someone LIVE. For some reason, you have to leave your name and then it puts you on hold with plesant music playing. You do not realize this but you will never reach a LIVE person. Trust me, we've called for days. However, the dress was beautiful for its price. I had to alter it a bit but it was very minor. Good luck!

Julius Bridal made my day:) I loved the dress and their service was amazing. I'm from Norway, so I was a bit anxious about ordering online from a different part of the world. But I'm so happy I did!!!!! I got so many compliments on the dress and nobody could belive what I had paid for it. I ordered the dress in February and got it in May, just a couple of weeks late and well in time for the wedding in August. It was a bit thight around the hips, but that was due to my measuring. Advice: get a proffesional seemstress to do the measuring for you. However it wasn't a problem getting it fixed here in Norway, so it worked out great anyway. Thank you Julius and Mimi, I just love you and I've told everybody I know who's getting married about you... and will continue to:) You do not deserve the bad reviews in here, in my opinion!

I love Julius Bridal. I ordered my dress, my veil, my necklace, earrings, headpiece, my second party dress, my bridesmaid's dresses, jr. bridesmaid dress, flowergirl dress, and mother of the bride dress. They all came out GREAT!!!! The quality of work, the fabrics, the colors, the fit, the beading, everything about these dresses were amazing! I had visited about 12 bridal salons and no one offered a HUGE sparkly princess ballgown dress but Julius Bridal was totally able to deliver EXACTLY what I wanted. My reception hall owner, couldn't stop talking about my dress. It was amazing! I totally recommend Julius and Mimi, they made me feel so spectacular on my wedding day.

I had my wedding on July 18, 2009. I started looking for wedding dresses in April. My husband's parents wanted a big wedding at the last minute. I was very picky with wedding dresses. I wanted something that represented my personality and something different that not your typical bride would wear. Nothing drew my attention until I found Julius' Bridal website. I fell in love with the Eliose Pnina Tornai replica dress that I thought look better than the original. My dress look like I paid thousands of dollars and it was less than 1000. Money wasn't any issue for me as long as I loved the dress. I had a custom made top of a corset of D&G dress and the bottom half dress was Julius bridal's creation the Eliose dress. Julius bridal is truly talented. The quality and the dress is amazing and received numerous compliments of how beautiful my dress was. My best recommendation for brides is to order at least 3 months in advance. I ordered my dress on May 7,20009 and Received it on July 14, 2009. My dress fit like a glove and I did not make any alterations. However, I knew that wedding dresses run small and that I would fit a size 2 but I ordered a size 4. They are very willing to fulfill all your orders but time became an issue with them toward the end as well as a lack of organization. My dress was custom made. I placed the order for my dress in February with an assurance thats ample time to create my dress as well as make needed alterations in time for my wedding which was in July. The dress was slated to arrive in April, it did not arrive till May, and details on the dress that I specifically said I DID NOT want were on the dress, as well as the train need to be extened. THey assured me there was plenty of time to alter the dress. I also ordered a second dress, with another assurance the dress would arrive within plenty of time. June came and neither of my dresses, even my wedding dress was not ready. The wedding dress arrived two weeks to my wedding, and the bodice was completely wrong and was two sizes too small! They had to take the original dress bodice, turn that into a sweetheart top, and attach it to the skirt of the new wedding dress which had the extened train, BUT still had the WRONG DETAILING! All these major alterations were done 4 days to my wedding and the second dress had not yet arrived. My second dress arrived the day before the wedding and still needed a slight alteration, but I was able to work that out myself.

I purchase my wedding dress online from Julius Bridal's eBay and since I was not able to leave feedback on eBay I'm doing it here. I first saw this dress online a few months before even getting engage as I Google Victorian wedding dress and I fell in Love with it! Everybody that saw my wedding dress saw thought it was beautiful and look like it would have cost way more than $700. The detail in the beading and the long, long trail was just WOW!!! I fell that I got more for my money than what I actually paid for. The only thing was that, that beautiful long trail was too heavy and bulky to be carrying around on my arm for the reception so I ended up buying another more playful dress from labellabycarmencreation.com for the reception. Which it was okay since the Julius dress just wonderfully complemented the beautiful Victorian style Church I got married in. The only alteration I got made on the dress since I never tried it on or even seen besides on pictures. They added fabric loops on the back where the zipper was to run lace thru it so it looked like a corset which really made the dress look more Victorian. Thank you Julius!!!!! This dress was like Icing on the Cake to my wedding.

We've bought a total of 6 beyond fantastic gowns from Julius Bridal and each one was incredibly gorgeous (and I mean STUNNING!) and well-made with an exquisite amount of detail. I have one, for instance, that's made of pure silk satin (yup, 100% pure silk) with an amazing amount of beadwork and embroidery that just took my breath away. I definitely feel like Julius gives you MORE than your value's worth for your money since a gown like that would normally retail for $2000 and up. I've tried on similar (and in a lot of cases lower quality yet more expensive in price) gowns at many, many other retailers and their quality just didn't even compare or come close. Take it from a bride who's bought a whopping 6 gowns from this vendor: you won't be disappointed. You'll be extremely delighted and back for more! Thanks so much, Julius! I ordered my wedding dress from Julius Bridal in New York. I was very nervous ordering my dress from an online vendor. I was pleasantly surprised at the responsiveness and ease of the transactions with Julius Bridal. They responded fairly quickly to my inquiries, the ordering process was very easy, and in fact...I received my wedding dress 3 weeks AHEAD of their estimated delivery date. They took care to verify every detail of how I wanted the dress. The quality of the material and beading on the dress was FANTASTIC. The dress looked almost identical to the photo. The only draw back was that I embellished on the measurements and I had to get a LOT of alteration done. But I will say that you get MORE for less with Julius. My dress only cost me $399; but looked like it ran in the THOUSANDS. The only negative I have about this vendor is the way they packaged my dress. It came in a small box, and was rolled up inside of a trash bag...this is NOT what a bride wants to see her "pride and joy" in. I started to panic before I even pulled out the dress. But once I saw the dress...my fears turned into joy! I would recommend Julius Bridal to all brides.

i was searching online for my dream dress. every website i came across did not have what i want for my wedding day. one day i went back online again and i came across juluis bridal website custom made wedding dress for little or nothing, i said to myself that's the website i've been searching for. in august i gave them a call about a dress that i wanted it to be custom made for my wedding. i spoke to several people that work with julius. everyone was super nice and very helpful. it was kind of early to get the dress made. in december of 08 i call again and i got julius, i explain him that i have wedding coming up in february and i need my dream dress. he explain to me that i need so send in my measurement and the dress that i want. ever since julius made my dream came true he made me and my maid of honor dress. the dresses was so beautiful. julius you the best i will recommend anyone thats getting married julius is the guy for your dream dress. he have reasonable price for your dream wedding dress.
