My fiance and I had no trouble choosing a photographer for our wedding day. I had seen Konrad's website first and fell in love with his work and as soon as I showed Marc we knew he was the photographer for us. Our wedding was only 3 days ago but we can tell from our amazing engagement photos that our wedding photos will be just as, if not more outstanding!

Konrad is an extremely talented photographer who is 100% dedicated and interested in his subjects' wants and equally in his work. He has the ability to shoot a range of photography styles so if you want the traditional type, no problem. But if you want to explore your creative side as well, he will without a doubt impress you with his candids and photojournalistic style. He works only with natural light and can alter it with his keen eye and his camera equipment to get dramatic looks. He does not need photoshop to alter your photos and believe me, you will come out looking even better!

Konrad and his assistant were amazing! Konrad is a consummate professional who is absolutely passionate about his work AND his clients. I believe he treats every couple as if it were the only couple in his busy schedule! He certainly made us feel that way. His attention to detail and tenacity to capture the perfect shot is admirable. After our initial meeting with Konrad at a local Starbucks in our neighborhood where he came prepared with a full spread of albums and other samples of his work, my fiance and I knew that we wanted to book him immediately. This man loves what he does, and it really shows in his pictures, his communication with us throughout the process, and on the actual wedding day of course. Konrad is genuine and honest, and in the cutthroat wedding industry people like him are hard to come by. He made an impression on all our family and friends, they look at our wedding photos practically every single day because they came out so beautifully. There are so many details to them, they are like art, the more you look at them you see something different you didn't notice before. Just check his facebook page and you will see for yourself. The money we paid was worth every single penny, and we saved for a long time in order to have amazing memories of our big day!

Konrad was incredible. He responded to all of my emails and phone calls immediately, allayed any fears and anxieties I was experiencing and was very reasonably priced for his top quality of work.More than anything though he produced stunning photographs. He captured moments of contentment, vulnerabilty, excitement, silliness and sheer joy. I never felt like he was intruding and to be quite honest, I forgot he was even there for large parts of the ceremony and reception. When I got my proofs, I was amazed to receive such initimate and beautiful photos.My family is thrilled with his work as well, they keep complimenting me on the pictures and I have been told "these are the best wedding photos I have ever seen" more than once. Konrad is the best and every bride should have a photographer like him!!

Konrad was truly amazing -- from the minute he arrived to the moment he left he was constantly working to do everything he could to capture all the details of the day. He was completely self-sufficient (found a place to hang and photograph the dress on his own, picked out a place for our first look photos). He is at once creative and experienced enough to know the important pictures to take, the important moments to capture, and the details to record for you to remember, as well as responsive to your wants / concerns / comforts. The wedding day was a (blissful) blur, but Konrad's photos capture everything so beautifully, I know he has preserved our happiest day for us! I agonized over choosing our photographer, but I know without reservation that I chose the best possible photographer I could have found.

Konrad and his fantastic team took absolutely AMAZING photographs of our wedding day!He is such a talented and gifted photographer. The entire team worked so hard all day long and it was such a pleasure to have them spending the day with us. I don't know how we are going to decide which shots to frame because they are all so beautiful. We are so excited that we can forever remember our big day with such gorgeous photos.Konrad is definitely the photographer you need for your big day!

Konrad is the hardest working photographer out there! He and his assistant arrived early for my wedding and were busy all day. We have received a sample of the photos so far and we love them! Beautiful shots and color - he captured the entire wedding from start to finish and my husband and I cannot wait to see the rest of the pics. I definitely recommend Konrad and would use him again for future events.

After searching and searching, I happen to come across Konrad Kolen and loved the pictures on his website (I also read some great reviews about him too). The first time my husband and I met him, we knew he was def. the right guy for us! He was so easy to work with and even went to see our reception hall before the event to see what and where we could get the best pictures taken. He got back to my calls and emails right away. On our special day, he arrived an hour and a half early (which worked out great) and you didn't even know he was there (we were all getting ready in a suite). We took pictures in Central Park and Konrad got amazing shots! Konrad was even laying on the pavement to get some great pictures! Bottom line is that he loves what he does and is very dedicated to make sure you are satisfied. Thank you Konrad for making our day so special and capturing it :)

Konrad is AMAZING! He made our wedding day look spectacular and he is so wonderful to work with. My husband and I met him prior to the wedding to do an engagement photo session and he was so eager to please us. Within a few days, we were able to view our pictures and I knew then that Konrad had some great talent behind the lens. After our engagement session, I was really looking forward to the wedding and now that it's come and gone, he has surpassed my expectations for my wedding photos. My family and friends all agree that he was so nice to work with and seeing the result just proves what a creative, professional he is.

Not only was Konrad our favorite vendor but I was considering ways for him to fall in love with me because he was so great! ; )He was an amazing person to work with, always on time, and by on time I mean early. My fiance and I turned beating him to appointments into a game! We never won. Always looking for your needs and making sure you're satisfied his photographs are amazing. My friends were sharing them with all of their friends and family so they could convince them to hire him!Just an overall amazing experience. I couldn't have asked for more. Now I'm trying to think of new reasons to hire him so we could work with him again!

We couldn't have asked for anything better in a photographer for our wedding. Konrad was willing to meet with us at the location to make sure he would be ready for our day. He kept to our schedule and took very beautiful photographs. He is very professional, artistic, knowledgeable and was able to capture us as a couple, as well as all of our friends and family. we look forward to enjoying these pictures for the rest of our lives.

I cannot say enough good things about Konrad. He's not only extremely talented, but he is just a genuinely good person who's professional and really wants his clients to be happy. I am in love with my pictures. They are beautiful and I am so thankful I found him, and even more happy that he had my date open!! Out of all of the vendors I had on my wedding day, Konrad was by far the best. He is an amazing photographer and so passionate about his work. He goes the extra mile to ensure that the pictures are creative, beautiful, unique and still gets the traditional shots that you might want. I received so many compliments on our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures, and have already had 2 of my friends who got engaged book him as well after seeing my pictures. He is friendly, prompt, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend using him, you will not be disappointed. His prices are also reasonable which is always helpful!

My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the passion, talent, professionalism, and most importantly the photography of Konrad Kolen. Aside from capturing the most beautiful photos, he was so enjoyable to work with before, during and after the wedding. Before the wedding he was thorough about getting all the logistics and details right, during the wedding he was accommodating, patient, and miraculously at all the right places, at all the right times capturing all the right pictures. After the wedding, he turned around the pictures in record timing. I highly recommend working with him.

When we started wedding planning, photography was one of the most important services for us. My husband and his family are into photography and we wanted a photographer with a keen eye and a sense for both contrast and composure. Our top candidate would also be someone who was very concerned with his equipment quality and variety of lenses. After speaking with a few vendors, we met with Konrad, and then ended our search. He actually met us at our apartment and brought a ton of samples of his work. We were immediately impressed with his images and with the passion in which he spoke about photography. The pictures were clean, crisp, and dynamic and we have been overwhelmingly pleased with his work for us. Konrad took engagement photos of us all around NYC that were fantastic. He was able to give us suggestions on ways to pose that came out just great and really captured both of us beautifully. On top of that, Konrad visited our wedding site prior to the wedding to get a sense of the venue and look at various areas to take pictures. On our wedding day Konrad was nothing less than amazing. He arrived early (as always) and was ready to work. He and his assistant worked from the second they got there until well after the party was over. In the morning, he quietly worked while capturing the excitement when the girls and boys were getting dressed and continued his hard work throughout the event. I had many people come up to me during the wedding and say that they couldn't believe how hard our photographer was working! He was almost invisible throughout the day, however we knew he was constantly catching all of the important moments. Even after the wedding, he wanted to take a few more shots and I think his favorite phrase was, "oh, I thought of something, just one more shot." It is clear that he is passionate about what he does, and his passion is evident is his pictures. While still on our honeymoon, Konrad sent us our pictures from the wedding, and again we were blown away. We are truly grateful for the hard work he put into our wedding day and couldn't be more pleased with our choice.

Working with Konrad was a true pleasure and the photos turned out even better than we could have imagined! He has a fantastic eye for color and lighting and a very relaxed attitude. Our photos look natural, not posed, and we were totally comfortable with him during the entire day. He has a unique and professional way of blending in with the background and not being at all overbearing. Especially with the "getting-ready" pictures -- when we saw them, there were so many where I thought, "I remember doing that but I don't remember him taking a picture!" Accordingly, it was easy to relax and let him do his job of documenting our special day. I am blown away by both the quality of his work and the sheer number of pictures he took throughout the long day.

When I arrived at my venue on my wedding day, Konrad and his assistant were standing there waiting for me, set up and ready to take pictures. As our contract time wound down, he was still there, 110% attentive and still looking for the best shots. The level of professionalism in his demeanor, appearance and picture-taking style - and his passion for his art - went above and beyond any expectations I had set for my photographer. He found places for us to take pictures that we would never have thought of and we have beautiful, creative, unique pictures to remember the day by. He works magic with angles and light. It's hard to describe in words how much Konrad contributed to making the wedding special; he was by far our best and most professional vendor and provided us with magical photos that we will treasure forever. Before the wedding, communication with him by e-mail and phone was always easy and he took careful time to ask what our expectations were for the pictures and adapted his shooting on the day of to our wishes. An online gallery and all the pictures, edited and on CD, were provided to us in a tiny fraction of the time that I have heard other photographers take to deliver. My 5 star rating is no exaggeration - Konrad is a photographer whom I highly recommend for any wedding!
