Laura is the best person to have around you when you are getting ready. She will make you laugh while doing your make-up. I usually wear just under-eye concealer and mascara on a daily basis (though I do wear more make-up when I’m hittin the town), so I was initially surprised to see myself looking different than what I’m used to. However, it looked fantastic and subtle in pictures (see above) and ten hours after Laura finished my make-up, it was still on, and looked quite natural, even up close. Also, Laura will respond to your e-mails in 24 hours or less, and takes detailed notes during your make-up trial, so that she can reproduce that look on your wedding day.

Laura is absolutely amazing. The make-up artist for my wedding canceled on me 3 weeks prior to my wedding. I tried a few other make-up artists that friends referred to me, but I didn't like any of them. Then I met Laura. She made me feel completely comfortable and did my make-up beautifully. Having Laura do my make-up on the day of my wedding was wonderful. I looked beautiful and was so calm that day, because I knew I was in good hands. I will have Laura do my make-up for any important events in my life and would recommend her to any bride who wants to look amazing the day of their wedding.

Laura is amazing - she was truly everything I could have asked for on my wedding day. Not only is she an incredible make up artist; she's fun to be around and very professional. The trial was so much fun - after she did my make up we just sat and chatted for an hour. I was the first of my friends to get married in NYC (and I'm not from here originally) so I struggled finding vendors for my destination wedding. Laura did my make-up, my bridesmaids, and my Mom/MIL. Everyone looked gorgeous and had a ball. I am so happy that I found Laura - you will not be disappointed!

I loved working with Laura throughout the entire process of wedding planning and she was an absolute asset on my wedding day. From the very beginning when I contacted her, Laura was always very responsive, friendly and up-front. While she is in very high demand, she goes out of her way to accommodate her brides; when I first inquired about booking her for my wedding she said she would tentatively mark me down in her calendar and would give me first priority and contact me to let me know if anyone else contacted her about booking on my date, and all without a deposit! This is just one of many examples of how she always exceeds expectations and maintains a kind, courteous, and professional nature. For my makeup trial, Laura when out of her way to accommodate my very busy work schedule and then set aside her whole Saturday afternoon to meet with me. First we spent some time looking through pictures, discussing how I envisioned my wedding, what kind of look I wanted to achieve, and what makeup hues would best suit me. Also, Laura requests that you come wearing your normal everyday makeup so that she can get a sense of what your style is and how comfortable you feel wearing makeup. Then there was a little mini-facial, and she started layering makeup for my look. Also, if at any point you want to change something, a different eye or lip color for example, it’s totally not a problem. All Laura wants is for you to be happy with your look and excited for your wedding day. What is remarkable about Laura compared to other vendors I met with is that nothing was ever rushed and how comfortable and at ease she made me upon meeting her for the first time. With such a wonderful trial, I knew I was going to have a great wedding day. Several weeks prior to my wedding Laura got in contact with me to confirm all of the necessary details for the hotel and my schedule. The day of she arrived early with a wonderful demeanor—she was so positive and had a great sense of humor which really put me at ease and counteracted all of my pre-ceremony jitters. Laura spent a lot of time perfecting my makeup, cleaned up my brows, covered a scar, and made me laugh throughout. One of my bridesmaids has particularly sensitive skin, and Laura’s gentle touch and high quality products left her face unirritated and glowing. She finished everyone’s makeup in plenty of time for the ceremony with no rushing or stress. Not only did my makeup stay on and look fresh through the morning wedding and hours of dancing, it lasted through an outfit change and a night out on the town in NYC. She also provided me with a lip liner and lip gloss so I could retouch if my lips ever felt parched. Laura was a skilled, fun and overall fantastic person to work with throughout my entire wedding process from start to finish and I would highly recommend her to any bride who wants to feel her most beautiful on her wedding day. She will be an absolute asset to help you plan and to bring out your best as you get ready on your wedding. Don’t miss the chance to work with her!

Laura is fabulous!I initially found her on weddingbee.com and LOVED the look of her work. When I went for my trial, I was thrilled with the results...my eyes had never looked so big or bright. She knew exactly what I wanted and did it better than anyone had before. I went back to have her do my makeup for my engagement pictures and AGAIN I was thrilled. On the day of the wedding, Laura made me look (and feel) like a model! She’s extremely talented and such a calming person to be around on your wedding day. Laura worked her wonders on me, my bridal party, my aunt and mom – and everyone looked phenomenal (and everyone went for a different “look”). My mom has difficult skin and makeup never stays on her eyes – Laura went out of her way to make sure her eyelashes would stay on and checked up on her all day long (and even after the wedding)! She’s EXTREMELY talented, so much fun and such a calming person to be around on your wedding day. If I had a good enough excuse to have my makeup done by Laura all the time, I would!!! I highly, highly recommend booking her!

Laura Nadeau is the best makeup artist I have ever used. My wedding makeup was flawless and since the wedding I have used Laura on numerous occasions, always with perfect results. She's simply a genius!

Working with Laura was wonderful. She did my makeup on three different occasions, and each time I was more pleased with the final product. She makes you feel really comfortable and really listens to what you want to look like. I will definitely be using Laura for my makeup artist for future events!

Lo & Co. made me look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I could not have asked for more. We were in touch about 8 months prior to my wedding and she kept in touch with me throughout those months leading up to my wedding. I had two trials with her and a trial with my mother in law. She knew exactly what we wanted. Laura spent a ton of time with me at each trial and on my wedding day. She is very calm and super cool which a bride needs the day of her wedding. She does not rush through your makeup. Her work is beautiful.

Laura was great. She did the makeup at my wedding for me, my mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and several sisters. She even squeezed in the groom's grandmother at the last minute. Everyone looked fantastic and felt great. The makeup was flattering but not at all too heavy in application. It looked great on film and in person. I very highly recommend her!
