I could not have been more happy with how things turned out on my wedding day. My husband and I are living in Houston, TX but decided to have a destination wedding in New York after he proposed in Central Park. Since The Loeb Boathouse (fabulous restaurant) was not accomodating for our small number, and we knew we didn't want a hotel banquet room, we were so excited to find Midtown Loft and Terrace. It is the perfect setting for a New York wedding. You are right in the shadow of the Empire State Building. Throughout the planning process, there seemed to be little to do with the venue itself, and Amber and Kelsey were great about answering any questions we had. Even though the loft space is huge, we only had about 35 guests, so it was nice have use of the couches to make a lounge area on one side of the room, with a dance floor in the middle, and eating area on the other side. We had a small section drapped off since we had extra space. We used Creative Concepts Inc for coordinating and catering and Ariston Florists for the decor. Midtown Loft and Terrace is awesome!

I recently had my wedding at the Midtown Loft and must say that it was a memorable experience. When my guests arrived they were impressed with the polished oak floors and high cielings in the loft, and when they went up to the Terrace they really liked the fact that it was well landscaped and had amazing views of the city sky line. One important reason we went with this venue was because the lobby was presentable . The customer support team was also great in even allowed us to set up prior to our set up time which gave my event planning team enough time to decorate the space. In summary I highly recommend the Midtown loft &Terrace for your wedding

Midtown Loft & Terrace was an incredible venue for our wedding. We wanted something alternative, both loving the industrial look and this was perfect for us. And the terrace, WOW. No one will forget where it is we got married as the empire state building is literally right behind the venue. The photos we took up there were amazing. Deondra and Amber were great with answering any questions we had and our guests were truly impressed with the space. We highly recommended Midtown Loft!

Midtown Loft & Terrace was the setting for our July 2010 wedding - the venue is incredible! I had done a ton of research on lofts that we could rent in the NYC area for our wedding and I found Midtown L&T to be the best value --- and the most responsive and helpful. They allowed us to go tour the venue several times and worked well with my wedding planners when they needed assistance. If you haven't checked this space out, it is a must see! Absolutely amazing views of the city - our guests loved it!!

I had my wedding at the Midtown Loft and Terrace last month. They were very accommodating on every aspect of my event. I came back several times to see the space with either family or venders and they always made time for me to see it again. My rentals were picked up a little late (not my fault) but they were nice enough not to charge extra. I was very happy with the staff and the gorgeous space. I hope to have another event there someday!!

We worked with Marzena and she was extremely helpful with the entire planning process, as well as recommending vendors for us to work with. The space is really amazing with wonderful views of the city and the Empire State Building.

My husband and I are very happy that we had our wedding at the Midtown Loft & Terrace. To start, our guests were amazed with the views from the terrace. The price was also very reasonable in comparison with other venues in the city. Unlike other venues, they do not charge extra for additional services such as an event manager, cleaning, and instead they included those services with the rental fee along with lounge furniture, a bar and a red carpet in the lobby. Another great aspect about this venue is that you can bring your own caterer. This was important to us since we wanted Kosher for our wedding night. The venue is located right on 5th avenue and 29th street. Since the location was so great it was easy for our guests to get there. Overall I highly recommend the Midtown loft and Terrace for anyone planning to get married

After Pochron Studios closed, putting our all of our wedding plans on life support, we walked into Midtown Loft and Terrace to see if it was at possible to host our wedding on short notice. Marzena, the primary contact, was awesome from the very beginning. She genuinely empathized with our situation, and was incredibly flexible with our needs. Fortunately, our wedding date (August 1st) was still available. On the downside, it was about $3,000 dollars more than Pochron (and our budget). Understanding the situation Pochron put us in, Marzena offered to cut $1500 off the cost, and allowed us to break the payments into fourths to help us manage it (as opposed to half up front) while we waited for our refund to come in from Pochron. If you are looking for a genuine Manhattan wedding, the venue couldn't be more perfect. The roof deck sits right underneath the Empire State Building, a view that even local New Yorkers were awed by, to say nothing of the reaction from those out of town. The deck has a new wood flooring, separate glass-enclosed room, lights on the brick wall, and other touches that provide elegance. Even more impressive, it has a sound system wired to plug into an iPod, giving you an easy (and affordable) way to provide music all night. A small kitchen is located in a separate room, making it easy on the caterers to prepare and serve cocktail appetizers. It was also able to keep a nice breeze despite the summer heat, keeping kept the guests comfortable. It is ideal for a classy cocktail hour, giving everyone a genuine taste of NYC.The loft, directly beneath the roof deck, is beautiful and modern as well. The have a huge modern kitchen providing your caterer plenty of space to prepare the dinner. They provide several couches and tables which help give a sense of relaxed comfort. There are plenty of air conditioners to keep the venue cool even in the heat of August, and soft, adaptable lighting. They provide several staff members during the event in case any problems arise, and even stored some left over boxes until we could come by the next day to pick them up. The only issue we had was with the elevators - they can only carry about 10 guests or so up at a time, so if you are dropping guests off via buses, as we were, it can take awhile for them all to get up to the top. All in all, we would highly recommend Midtown Loft and Terrace for anyone looking for a true city wedding. If it sounds like we are raving about it, that is probably because it has been two weeks since our wedding, and we still haven't stopped hearing from people how awesome the venue was. You can't go wrong here.

The Midtown was wonderful they helped us every step of the way and was very flexible with our needs. They went out of their way and provided us with all kinds of tables and chairs at no extra cost.Staff was great, very professional. Compared to other venues in the same price range, the Midtown Loft & Terrace is the best choice you can make.I would highly recommend this facility for any occasion. We held both our ceremony and reception at Midtown and we're so happy we did.

I had my wedding there in September 2008 and it turned out to be an amazing night. The place is located on fifth ave, and the views of the Empire State Building from the terrace is spectacular. My family and guests were very impressed with the venue The manager was also flexible with my deliveries. The space was also deilvered to me in pristine condition. They provide their own furniture in the loft and I used that too. In the lobby they even rolled out a red carpet and the elevators were kept private for my guests. Overall I was very happy satisfied with this venue.

The space is gorgeous, the views incredible and the staff is friendly and extremely accommodating. Everything was clean for the day and there was someone there to make sure everything went off without a hitch. The only down sides were the fact that the arch we were married under seemed to be falling apart and they forgot to put up a curtain in an area we had discussed. Both problems were fixed quickly though. Also, the door man was rude to my vendors and I think they put up a handwritten sign to guide the guests upstairs- which was not what we discussed and is pretty tacky. Despite that, our guest have not stopped raving about the wonderful location and beautiful venue!

I am very happy that we chose MLT for my wedding venue. The views from the terrace were absolutely beautiful, especially impressing all of the guests that flew in to NYC from out of town. The actual loft was great because we were able to come in and decorate however we wanted. Any vendors are allowed, which was just what we wanted. The venue was the perfect size for my wedding of 120 people. MLT says they can hold up to 180 but I think many more than 120 would be too crowded.

I was overall very happy with the Midtown Loft and Terrace. It offered a beautiful backdrop for our "New York" wedding. Many of our guests were from out of town and they were literally floored by the views and the outdoor space. It is also very spacious inside and very well kept - painted often, flowers maintained, etc. We worked with Marzena who was professional throughout the process. My one compaint, however, was that it was often hard to see the venue when it was convenient for our schedule (i.e. on the weekends or evenings) eventhough we had originally seen and fell in love with the venue on a Sat. or Sun. afternoon. We had to be very persistent in trying to schedule time with them.Another small complaint I had was that things like exit signs, air conditioners, etc. that did not look very pretty ended up in pictures and were distracting. Obviously this would not be a reason not to have a wedding there, but maybe something to note and think about making less noticeable.
