My husband and I just returned from a romantic weekend in New York City, where we were married in Central Park. We had been carefully planning a private destination ceremony in New York for the last few months. We were so lucky to find Rev. Engle. She was friendly, open-minded and helpful from the very start. She returned e-mails and phone calls promptly and was very professional. Her personality was incredibly warm and approachable, which meant so much to us on our wedding day.
We found her prices to be quite reasonable and would recommend her services to anyone in the nyc area.

Rev Mary-Rose was fantastic from the start of our day. She identified me straight away as the nervous man stood outside Central Park. As we walked to Bow Bridge for the ceremony she took the time to find out a little more about us and helped to put my mind at ease, as well as recommending a few places to try out in New York during our stay. The actual service conducted by Rev Mary-Rose was absolutely beautiful, the words were so fitting and we will cherish them forever. She had a calming influence on our day and helped to make the memory special. All paper work and legal matters were taken care of effortlessly and everything ran smoothly despite the really cold weather. I can whole heartedly say that I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rev Mary-Rose to any of my family or friends considering getting married in New York.
Thanks again for making our day so special,
Joseph and Debra Gough, England.

When we found ourselves months away from our wedding without an officiant, we asked everyone we knew for help. Then a friend told us about Rev. Mary-Rose. We reviewed her website and thought she was very down to earth and a possible match for us. After our first phone conversation, we knew she was perfect. She did a great job of combining our two very different backgrounds with subtle hints of each of our religions. We are very big music buffs and she even incorporated some very special lyrics that meant so much to us. We found her to be really flexible and friendly. On our wedding day, our ceremony was the least of our worries. She arrived totally prepared and ready to roll with the punches.

Mary-Rose did a beautiful job crafting the ceremony. When we were planning our wedding we knew that we wanted something very personal and special while not being a religious wedding. During our first meeting with Mary-Rose, we both were convinced that our wedding ceremony was in excellent hands. She left no stone unturned when asking about our wedding, ourselves, and how Shaz and I felt about each other in order to get inspiration and a clear idea of what to write and say for our wedding. Being an artist and illustrator myself I know that having as much information as possible for any job, makes the project run smoothly, quickly, and efficiently. By sending drafts and arranging phone meetings to discuss the drafts, it made the entire process since the meeting all the way to the day of ceremony efficient, well organized, and excellent. The result was a beautiful heartfelt ceremony, where all of our guests felt the energy and love that Shaz and I share and feel for each other. Mary-Rose is an artist of ceremonies, and every one of our guests told us how moved they were with the ceremony. I would recommend Mary-Rose to everyone especially those who want to truly express their love for each other and have their friends and family feel that love.

Personal, Unique and Memorable
We had such a great wedding day and were pleased to have Rev. Mary-Rose as our Officiant, who did such an outstanding job composing and performing the ceremony. She was able create a ceremony the way we wanted (in a non-traditional way), and kept it simple and organized. Our wedding was held at Central Park on a beautiful spring day that left a lasting and meaningful impression to both us and all our guests. Rev. Mary-Rose integrated both of our different cultures with ease. In the weeks prior to the wedding, Rev. Mary Rose guided us through what was, for us, an intimidating process of selecting the various elements, rituals and readings to craft a ceremony that represented our diverse backgrounds and really reflected our personalities. She was ready with a bounty of information, ideas and resources. She is talented at what she does and listened to our needs. We had interviews with other Officiants but we found Rev. Mary-Rose and her husband Rev. Todd to be very personable and authentic and genuinely interested in creating a unique and special day for us. Rev. Mary-Rose was also great at managing our rehearsal and organizing the logistics of our unique outdoor ceremony so that everyone knew what was expected and everything ran smoothly. She created a unique and personal ceremony that will now be a lasting and precious memory for us and our guests; bringing a unique quality to the most meaningful day of our life.

Rev. Mary-Rose was extremely professional and organized during the whole process of creating a ceremony that reflected our beliefs, values and love. But most importantly she had a genuine caring for us and a deep commitment in making our special day perfect. This was highlighted by the glow that came from her when she did the actual ceremony; she was beaming with joy and it was obvious that taking part in bringing two hearts together is a deep passion of hers.
Thanks and lots of love, Fatima and Anthony.

Mary-Rose was the best choice we could have made for our officiant. She met with us ahead of time to get a good feel for who we are and what we wanted to make our ceremony special. She put together a very personalized ceremony and it was perfct, we couldn't have been happier. We would recommend her to any of our family and friends!

We wanted so much to express our appreciation for the most special and spiritual wedding that we had in Egypt on 1st Feb 2010.
The whole event came up almost overnight - it all started while we were on the River Nile cruise when Len (Haya) proposed, which really caught me by surprise and subsequently, we were overwhelmed by the idea to commemorate our wedding ceremony on the same day as Baba's birthday! It was meant to be that Rev. Mary-Rose was there with all of us on this trip and to make it happen.
The timeline in which Rev. Mary-Rose had to work to put together the ceremony was very, very short. I was very anxious and did not know what to expect but all that anxiety vanished the minute I listened to the ready suggestions she gave and at the same time open to the ideas we have in mind. Both of us are very impressed with the whole preparation because we depended fully on her arrangement. Everything went smoothly and it was beautiful.
The whole event was exactly what we wanted - we wanted it to be simple, sentimental and memorable. The best part is, there were 80 of us present in this ceremony and everyone was very receptive to it.
We can't thank Rev. Mary-Rose enough for her attention and expertise on our special day. We will always cherish our special day, thanks to her.
