I can't even begin to tell ANYONE how absolutely wonderful my wedding was. I feel in love with the Stroudsmoor Country Inn the minute I stepped foot on their property. My wedding was even BETTER than I could have EVER dreamed. Linda and Lizzy (my wedding planners) were absolutely wonderful. They were there for me every step of the way. Two months before my wedding, my father passed away and through everything they stood by me the whole entire time. Grieving the death of your father and trying to finish planning a wedding is not an easy thing to do, and without them I do not know how I would have gotten through it. Everything was exactly how I pictured - the cake, center pieces, flowers, ceremony EVERYTHING. It is such a magical place to get married. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. I honestly felt on top of the world the day of my wedding, they really treated me as though I was a princess. So many of my guests keep telling me how amazing my wedding was and that it was one of the best if not THE BEST wedding they have ever been too. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend The Stroudsmoor Country Inn to anyone planning to get married. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would because it was incredible.

Absolutely perfect. Planned my wedding in two months, Amy was the best! Having everything at one location made it a breeze and stress free. The Lawnhaven Building is gorgeous. Perfect size for our small wedding of 60. The food was the best I have ever had at any wedding. Crazy amount of hor deurves. Guests LOVED it and so did we!!!!

My husband and I held our New Year's Eve wedding reception @ Stroudsmoor Country Inn (Stroudsburg, PA - Pocono Area). There are plenty of room options for guests and several buildings at the inn (depending on your taste/style and number of guests attending) where you can hold your ceremony, reception or both! We had our reception at Woodsgate which is very intimate and stunning on the inside. Everyone was so attentive and made the planning and wedding day stress free and very memorable. Everything was perfect. The flowers and decorations were exactly what I pictured. The food - WOW amazing and the photographers were phenomenal. I wish I could do it all over again and wouldn't think twice about using them for future events. I HIGHLY recommend Stroudsmoor to any bride!

I cannot stress enough how UN-stressful our wedding at Stroudsmoor was. The event planners and staff truly know their stuff, and are accommodating in all ways possible. Orchestrating a wedding is a huge tasks that Brides can nearly lose their minds over - Stroudsmoor makes the process fun while still paying great attention to detail. The fact that they have all the vendors a Bride would normally have to coordinate for herself, and they coordinate those vendors themselves, is absolutely priceless. Our guests were delighted and we enjoyed every minute.

We had our wedding ceremony & reception at Stroudsmoor (Ridgecrest) 10/07/2011. It was absolutely beautiful! The entire staff at Stroudsmoor were professional, helpful and made our day everything we imagined. They always seemed to be one step ahead of us in the planning process, and our planner, Cathleen, was always there to answer any questions I had. She was definitely a huge help and I don't know how I would have done it all without her to guide us through it.
Stroudsmoor truly helps you throughout the entire planning process. They were great to deal with & even went above and beyond by removing a few tables for us even though the policy stated they wouldn't. I felt bad even asking, but they helped us out and it really made me happy.
Everything at Stroudsmoor was excellent - the food, the grounds, the staff, etc. Our guests cannot stop raving about how our wedding at Ridgecrest was the nicest wedding they've ever attended. This place is by far the best place in the entire area to have your wedding & I highly recommend it to everyone!

The Stroudsmoor staff is FABULOUS! From the moment we walked in the door as a potential wedding venue, we knew the Stroudsmoor had to be the place! The property is so well maintained, the food is absolutely delicious (every single time, and we have dined there many times)and the wedding planners are spectacular. The flowers were stunning and made our day even more beautiful. The wedding planners and services at the Stroudsmoor really make the wedding process stress free! I could never say enough good things about the Stroudmoor Country Inn, and would highly recommend it to anyone getting married in the area!

If you are looking for a charming and different wedding- this is the place to do it!! My husband and I fell in love with the Ridgecrest site after visiting the grounds. We live in northern, New Jersey and were looking to escape the wedding mills around us. We had the most magical wedding ever! Top notch service and the staff here is sooooo sweet and accommodating. Cannot say enough about everyone we came into contact with, especially our wedding coordinator Cathleen Fillman. I wish we could experience it all over again!!

Our situation was a little different than most in that my husband and I were in charge of the planning for our son's US reception. He and his bride were being married in Dresden, Germany and we wanted to host a US event since not many of the US guests could travel to Germany. Although Josh and Susan were in the US before the wedding, they were living in different states due to their jobs and really couldn't take an active part in the planning of the event at Stroudsmoor. Our events planner, Linda, was extremely helpful and understanding of our particular circumstances. She, as well as the rest of the staff with whom we worked, displayed the utmost professionalism in guiding us through the planning and execution of our reception. From the early planning stages to the final event, Stroudsmoor exceeded our expectations and we wholeheartedly recommend them.

I was not the typical bride who had planned her wedding since she was a little girl. I had no idea what I was doing and no vision in my head of what I wanted at all. As the first of my friends and siblings to get married, I hadn't even been to a wedding since being the flower girl for my cousin when I was five. I thought being so not picky about how things went would make things feel less stressful but I think it had the opposite effect, as I constantly questioned each decision I made, cursing the days as a kid I spent being "one of the guys" and having no concept of colors, flowers, dresses, or decor. Enter Stroudsmoor and wedding coordinator Barbara. We lived several hours away from Stroudsburg but with my Boston family and his Pittsburgh family it made a decent half way point and when we went to take a tour I immediately set my heart on Woodsgate (my heart had been set on Stroudsmoor in general just from the website). The travel time made things a little difficult for us and our time was always accommodated. Barbara was always really patient and helpful. I absolutely loved how personalized everything was to our personalities and styles. As I read up on wedding blogs and learned new or different things I was constantly changing things around and could never really make up my mind on anything and my changes were always accepted without any sign of how irritating I must have been. I honestly cannot imagine the entire planning process had we gone anywhere else, I might have actually lost my mind. Everything went off without a hitch. All of our guests were amazed with how absolutely beautiful the setting was, how friendly the staff was, how immediately their needs were met. We had budgeted from our engagement how much we could spend and how we would pay for things but a few months before the wedding several family issues caused a problem for our finances. Everyone (especially Jessie in their floral department, she was wonderful) worked really hard with us to make our deposit schedules fit for us so that we could still do everything we wanted without having to put a strain on us. I never would have expected such compassion and flexibility from such a high caliber wedding venue/coordinator/everything else they were for us. They truly gave us the perfect wedding that was unique and true to who we are as individuals and as a couple. We used them for our venue, caterer, coordinator, florist, baker, lodging, my hair and nails, and their recommendations for our DJ, photographer, and officiant. It was wonderful to have everything taken care of right there, and each aspect was flawless. I am amazed at wonderful the food was. I've been to a lot of formal non-wedding events before and have never enjoyed the catered food so much. I seriously can't say enough good things about them. If they could work this well with me, they can literally work for anyone.

Enough can not be said about Barbara my wedding coordinator and the stroudsmoor crew. They are incredible. I had a vision for my wedding and they made it better than could be imagined. Stroudsmoor is a one stop shop. I got my invitations, favors, flowers, and everything there. Just amazing and well worth every penny you pay which for what is included I think is not alot!

If you are looking for flawless execution of absolutely beautiful wedding receptions-- look no further. The Stroudsmoor is superb. Our wedding coordinator was Linda who expertly organized our wedding, and did not miss a beat. The communication throughout the planning was fantastic, and we got SO MANY compliments on the wedding reception. The food was fantastic, the flowers were beautiful-- it was perfect. The staff at the Stroudsmoor are experts, and I would recommend this venue to any bride.

She was also very patient with me trying to plan a wedding from Va where I live. The staff was well organized and the room(Lawnhaven) we were in, was enchanting!!!

As a couple planning a wedding from out of town, Stroudsmoor helped make planning this wedding very simple. We held both our ceremony and reception at the Woodsgate site, Barbara was a wonderful planner. We also used the onsite florist, bridal shop for invitations, the lodging coordinator, and the onsite bridal salon and spa. We did not use the onsite photographer, but this venue allows for almost one stop organizing. They also had a helpful list of area vendors including additional photographers, DJs/musicians, florists, and officiates. \r\n\r\nPlanning: Planning was fairly straight forward. There are several venues to choose from, but wedding size may change which venue can be used. Barbara showed us our potential sites, and worked with us through the months on planning the ceremony & reception timelines, food, working with vendors etc. They have standard checklists to work though which were very useful in making sure we had captured all important aspects for the wedding. The contract is pretty strict (no outside food, additional time costs & bar minimums for example), but they were upfront with all costs and we had no surprises. \r\n\r\nFood & Beverage: There were several food & beverage packages to choose from, which could be easily customized based on your budget and taste. The reception costs are based on the number of guests and the food and beverage packages chosen, there were no additional costs for the reception venue itself, unless upgrades are chosen. There is a bar minimum in the contract, the amount varies based on the venue and night of the week. We chose the Country Heritage package, which included a cocktail hour with 25 hot and cold butler passed Hors d\'oeuvres as well as a vegetable and cheese tray in the cocktail area, an appetizer, a choice of two entrees (a third can be added for an additional cost), and the cake. Vegetarian and other dietary restriction dishes were accommodated with no issues. The cake is also included with the package, there were several cake/frosting flavor options and ways to display and decorate the cake. Custom cakes were also an option through the bakery, for an additional cost. No outside food is allowed (including food favors) as part of their contract. \r\n\r\nService: Service was great during the entire planning process, but the staff at our actual reception was outstanding. They made sure the bridal party had everything they needed; everyone was well fed and had beverages. The staff also went above and beyond for the Groom, making him a special dairy free cupcake. During planning, phone calls and e-mails were responded to in a timely manner. \r\n\r\nCost: The cost may initially appear high, but the reception costs include not only the food and beverages, but also the staff, the setup/cleanup of the room, linens, dining ware, base decorations, as well as the wedding coordinator. Tip and service charges are included in the estimates, and the reception cost varies based on the number of guests. \r\n\r\nLodging: The Inn allows for a discount with a room block of at least 10 rooms booked. The downside of the room block is that all rooms not to be used have to be released 2 months before the wedding date, and there are potential charges if the rooms are cancelled by the guests. However, without the room block depending on the weekend the Inn can fill up, so this was a better way for us to ensure that our guests could stay locally. \r\n

I know so many good things have already been said about The Stroudsmoor, but it can't hurt to have one more stellar review. Every venue there is unique and gives you privacy and the feeling that you are the only couple in the world getting married. The staff is top-notch. The professionalism is ever-present without being stiff or overbearing. Our wedding planner, Cathleen Fillman was incredibly helpful as was every other member of staff we had to work with to make our day complete. Our guests can't stop talking about how "magical" the day was. We chose the Woodsgate, by the way, as our venue. Incredible.

I can not describe in words what a wonderful place the Stroudsmoor Country Inn is. They made my wedding experience so relaxing and stress free due to all the support and help they provide. They have everything in one location for you from flowers to invitations to a spa. The food, staff and presentation is wonderful. If you want awesome pictures go visit their on site photographers called Vinzon Lee Photography, they were also wonderful and so easy to get along with. I could not have wished for a better reception thanks to the Stroudsmoor Country Inn!

They have great variety of wedding reception venues for different wedding party sizes. It's great that the coordinator you start with sticks with you through it all, you feel like you are in great hands! I was at the woodsgate location , just breathtaking natural venue. They work with you on the date and pricing, and wait on you hand and foot , my guests could not stop heaping praise on the staff, the decor and the food AMAZING!
