Susan was an added bonus to our wedding ceremony. She spent the time with us prior to the ceremony to get to know us and it really showed in what she said at the ceremony. The day was perfect and our families loved the ceremony as well.

Rev. Susan made our wedding a truly magical, memorable event. She really worked to tailor the ceremony to us... our feelings for each other, our family and friends, and our spiritual needs. She was there every step of the way, offering her expertise and time for any questions or concerns we had. She was more than willing to work with our ideas. And on the evening of the service itself, she was brilliant. Everyone loved her and many people commented that it was the most meaningful ceremony they had ever witnessed. We recommend Rev. Susan was so sweet and kind from the first time we met her. She listened to our story and took notes on every single detail we told her. When she sent us the first draft of our vows it was almost perfect, just a few little words here and there were revised. Leading up to the wedding were in always in contact and on our wedding day she was very calm which made the whole ceremony relaxed. She even helped me with my bustle!!Susan is a great person and we thank her for being part of our special day.

Susan is wonderful to work with. She tailored a creative ceremony for us that integrated our diverse backgrounds and different faiths. We learned a lot about wedding rituals that we incorporated into our ceremony which gave an extra dimension of meaning. Susan has a great eye for detail, patience, and depth of knowledge. We received many compliments and are very happy with our experience with Susan.

Susan helped create a wonderful ceremony that included my 5 year old daughter and got rave reviews from our guests. They loved how the ceremony reflected our individual vows, as well as the sand ceremony which represented how we are all a family now. Susan did a great job of keeping me relaxed and also helped with little details that were not expected of her. She was helpful at making sure the family got the corsages and offered help to make the day run smoothly. I highly recommend Susan to help make your wedding ceremony truly your own. She will listen to your requests and incorporate elements that are important to you and your future spouse.

Susan did a great job for our marriage ceremony, which took place in Central Park. My husband and I were unsure about exactly where we wanted the ceremony, exactly when, exactly who would be there to witness it, and if we would write our own vows! I informed Susan on the morning of the wedding that we did not write our own vows, and she went with it! It was a beautiful ceremony - really a perfect day - and Susan helped set that tone.

We loved working with Susan as our officiant! She really took the time to get to know us and our ceremony was completely personalized to us and our relationship. We wanted a non-religious ceremony and Susan did a wonderful job. Susan was so easy to work with and really incorporated aspects from our culture and from what we had said about each other and how we felt about each other into the ceremony, which made it truly special and unique. Everyone thought it was such a beautiful ceremony and we can't thank her enough! We highly recommend Susan!

Being both non-religious, it took us some time to even start looking for an officiant. It seemed like such a daunting process. But then we came across Susan Turchin here on WeddingWire. After both Jon and I spent hours on the phone with Susan, we knew she was the perfect choice. Susan really captured the essence of us in our ceremony, even introducing new ideas into our ceremony which our guests were very touched by. She took time to meet with us via phone and in person to make sure we were completely comfortable with her and the ceremony she had written for us. At our wedding, Susan was a joy. She is a great speaker and a warm person, engaging us and our guests.We highly recommend Susan to any couple.

Susan conducted a renewing of our vows on our tenth wedding anniversary and we cant say enough good things about what she did for us. The ceremony she did was exactly what we wanted and the words she put together were perfect.Susan was easily accessable to us leading up to the ceremony via phone or e-mail and always responded promptly to any requests. Susan Turchin was an absolute delight to work with! She was attentive and responsive with phone calls and emails and was very, very helpful with any questions or concerns that we had.I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and creative wedding ceremony. My guests keep telling me how they have never been to such a beautiful and personalized ceremony. She was perfect in incorporating both of our cultures and religions. Susan was hands down the best officiant we could have asked for. Her interest in our lives, history, and spiritual inclinations were genuine and extremely useful in drafting a perfect ceremony. Her experience allowed for the actual ceremony to go over without a glitch. She was flexible in terms of timing, and went above the call of duty to ensure that friends and family were engaged and comfortable during the execution of the ceremony.

Susan was the officiant for our wedding on October 4th, 2009, and we couldn't have been more pleased! My husband was raised Jewish, and I was raised Catholic, and we wanted to incorporate aspects of each of our cultures without having a wedding that was too religious, while also respecting the wishes and sensitivity of our parents. Susan was warm and friendly from the moment we met her, and worked with us to design a ceremony that was most in-line with what we wanted. She was always extremely responsive to all of our phone calls and emails, and worked patiently with us while we finalized various drafts of the ceremony. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and we received so many compliments and comments from friends and family saying what a wonderful ceremony it was.
